Jash Productions is the brainchild of an unlikely duo of enthusiastic film fans, and their immature and - with hindsight - whoppingly arrogant dreams of celluloid glory: the enigmatic Simon Horne and the effervescent James Alva.

 

Marrying their talent for creativity, candour, colourful expletives, and kitsch filmmaking, this website brings together the creative works of these two bipolar opposites.

 

Conceived out of some misplaced confidence in their ability to create cinematic deliciousness for the human visual cortex, it was surely only pride that kept these two amateur film makers from quitting...and stubborn pride too that has forced them to plunder the depths of their creative "juice hole" to produce something that resembles a semi-professional film production company...and not just a couple of guys a few pickles short of a MacDonald's burger.

James Alva always had an eye for detail, although with some irony this is the first time such a fact has been detailed...a detail that has, until now, escaped James's eye. Four years in Art education has primed him for a medium whose flexibility is matched only by James's inflexible enthusiasm for film making. With aplomb and wanton excess, James brings to Jash Productions what Henry the Eighth brought to marriage...but with more sex appeal and double the bloodshed.

 

Simon Horne is a man of many talents: graphic designer, warehouse worker, cleaner, cook, wardrobe consultant, receptionist, SImon has done it all...and has brought his considerable experience of these latent talents to Jash Productions. A master film quote swordsman, a venerable Hudson impersonator, Simon excels in every field to which he applies himself...and Jash Productions is unashamedly callous enough to take full advantage of this.
